Loss of material
Material loss refers to residual amounts or quantities of material that have become unusable during manufacturing processes. This occurs, for example, during cutting operations. Depending on the process selected, the amount of material loss varies. Sintering, for example, is characterized by particularly low material loss.
Material loss varies depending on the process
The "Processes" section provides information on material loss based on the manufacturing process.
