Blank (workpiece)
A blank is a workpiece that still requires further processing, such as in the die-forging process.
A blank is a workpiece that has already undergone one processing step in the production chain and is intended for a subsequent processing step. A blank can be produced from a semi-finished product and later become a component of a semi-finished good.
